An intro from Roma {Touched by an Angel}  and Mark {The Voice, Survivor}:

Here is a “sneak peak” from “The Bible” series. Geoff and I will be watching this on Sunday FOR SURE! I can’t wait!

Television is such an amazing thing….it can put stories in front of us that we would have never read. It can also bring to life words on a page helping us be a part of the story in another way. Sometimes when we see a story unfold in front of us we can grasp the full meaning…the emotions, the settings, the meanings.

So often we put things into our minds that just aren’t worth keeping…music, TV shows, gossip, etc. I’ve been guilting of watching TV shows that are not all that praise worthy {ha, ha}. Not necessarily “bad” shows, just nothing that would benefit me and my walk with the Lord.  It was such a blessing to hear about “The Bible” series …so of course, I couldn’t wait to tell you about it!

May the truth be told, enjoyed and shared!

    Dear Janelle,
I heard about “The Bible” mini-series airing on the History channel through K-Love radio, and I have already set the DVR to record (in case I miss any of the program).
By the way I am really fond of your website and have shared it with many sister friends.

  2. Awesome. Thanks for the info!

  3. We cannot wait to watch this!!! Thanks for sharing the info – I just shared it on WLW’s facebook page :)!!!
    Love ya,

  4. We saw a commercial for it last week and I totally forgot about it. Thanks for sharing so I can DVR it!!

  5. Thanks so much for sharing this I will be watching it.

  6. Please be very careful watching this series…in the previews already it has inaccuracies to the Bible! Jesus did NOT have holes in his hands he was scarred in his hands…please read the Bible while watching this and watch out for anti-biblical doctrine…

    • Thanks for your advice Ashley! I watched it last night and I loved it-certain scenes brought me to tears. It was amazing to the beloved Bible come alive before my eyes. I did not see anything that went against scripture thus far, but I will certainly go in with discernment.
