Dirt pudding is so easy…so fun…so yummy! Adults and children alike enjoy this special dessert. You can dress it up with wormies, put it in a flower pot {or small pots like the ones shown above}, or simply serve it with the oreo “dirt” topping in a serving bowl. No matter the initial presentation, there will surely be a bowl licked clean in the end! Enjoy!

*Oh, yes…I do enjoy making my own whipped cream but I am not offended by Cool-Whip once in a while. I know, I know. 😉 Â
Whisk together pudding packages with milk and set aside in refrigerator.
Crush oreos by placing them in a large ziploc bag and pounding them with a mallet. Spread 1/2 of  them down in the bottom of a pan {or whatever serving dish you desire}.Â
In another bowl, add butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese.
Add cream cheese mixture to pudding and stir.
Top with remaining Oreos. Mmmm…. Â

I’ve almost always seen this made with chocolate pudding instead of vanilla so that it resembles mud more. It’s delicious and cute either way though!
You certainly can! I would omit the cream cheese mixture and just make with pudding if using chocolate! {I have done it this way as well- still yummy}
