Dirt {the incredible,edible}

Dirt pudding is so easy…so fun…so yummy! Adults and children alike enjoy this special dessert. You can dress it up with wormies, put it in a flower pot {or small pots like the ones shown above}, or simply serve it with the oreo “dirt” topping in a serving bowl. No matter the initial presentation, there will surely be a bowl licked clean in the end! Enjoy!

*Oh, yes…I do enjoy making my own whipped cream but I am not offended by Cool-Whip once in a while. I know, I know. 😉

Whisk together pudding packages with milk and set aside in refrigerator.

Crush oreos by placing them in a large ziploc bag and pounding them with a mallet. Spread 1/2 of  them down in the bottom of a pan {or whatever serving dish you desire}.

In another bowl, add butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese.

Beat well.

Add cream cheese mixture to pudding and stir.

Fold in Cool-Whip

Layer onto crushed Oreos.

Top with remaining Oreos. Mmmm….

    I’ve almost always seen this made with chocolate pudding instead of vanilla so that it resembles mud more. It’s delicious and cute either way though!

    • You certainly can! I would omit the cream cheese mixture and just make with pudding if using chocolate! {I have done it this way as well- still yummy}
