This stew is sure to please your family…it is a hearty meal in itself! The meat is so tender and the gravy pairs perfectly with crusty french bread. This one is a keeper, Friends! Enjoy!

My BFF Renee (the first commenter above) INSISTED that I need to try this recipe. So yesterday I gave it a whirl and it was great! Even though I was out of a couple of ingredients and had to improvise, the flavor was great! Thanks for the great post, and all the great recipes and encouragement you share!
Thanks for taking the time to post that sweet comment Jen! Thanks to Renee too! Keep cooking for the King and serving those families of yours!!!
I made this last night. It was so delicious!! My husband loved it! Thanks for the recipe. I will definately be making it again.
Tiffany..thank you for the update! So great to hear you and your family enjoyed it!!!!
Hi Janelle, thank you for this recipe. I can’t wait to try it tomorrow and bringing it to a friend who is undergoing a scan. I would like to clarify that the vegetables all go together in the pot with the beef, right? Will the green beans not get mushy? I guess I always use a crockpot recipe for beef stew so I’m not sure how it will turn out if I do it on a pan. Thank you so much.
Yes, all at once! What a blessing you are!
This looks yummy! Have you ever made it in the crockpot? I’m not proficient at crock -cooking just yet, and I was just wondering if you had any tips for adapting it. Thanks!
I made this wonderful dish for my very picky husband…….it’s a 10 !!!
I thought it was unusual to make stew without potatoes but this is one ill make again and again. I did not miss the spuds at all. The flavor was scrumptious. It’s nice to offer a lovely warm meal like this after a busy day at work. Thank you so much for sharing .
WOHOOO!!!!!!
I discovered this recipe a few years ago and have been making it ever since. It’s the best stew recipe I have ever tasted!! Thank you!!!
Thanks so much, Lacee!
