Easy Taco Dip

Who doesn’t love a good taco dip? This deeeelicious dip is quick, easy, and can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until guests arrive.  I have a feeling this isn’t going to last long tonight at my house!
So, who is going to win Packers or Steelers?
Enjoy!
Spread 1 can of refried beans on a large serving dish
In large mixing bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning packet
Spread that mixture over top of beans
Layer salsa (If I don’t make my own salsa, I use Garden Fresh Gourmet- it is amazing)
Top with cheddar cheese (I finely shred cheese in most mexican dishes I make)
Top with shredded lettuce and garnish with olives
Wanna bite?!
MMMMmmm…

That looks very yummy ! I'm headed to the store in a bit, going to get stuff to make this. Oh and GO PACKERS !! 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend !

  2. YUM! I mix the salsa into the refried beans, heat through and spread as the 1st layer of my dip, then add layers after that. I teach a Middle School level Food & Fitness class and my students just made this in lab on Friday. I thought they might attend a Packer Party (I live in Wisconsin) and they would feel successful making something like this to take. Great recipe! Thank you!

    Packers!!

I've made this dip for YEARS and we love it – but I do not add the taco seasoning to the cheese/sour cream and no lettuce on top 🙂 Just some green onions and black olives. It is so yummy!!

Looks wonderful!!! I think I'll make some of this and enjoy it with my blue chips! Thanks for sharing!

  8. This is my all time favorite dip but I rarely make it. It's my mom's specialty! The only difference is she adds guacamole instead of salsa! I might just have to try your version.. but I'll have to wait for a special occasion or I might just eat it all myself!
