Watermelon Carvings

{{{{Mr. Smiley}}}}

One of my absolute favorite fruits is watermelon, and guess what ladies?! It’s in season and on SALE! Wohoo! I will be scooping up a bunch of these for our church’s Mother/Daughter banquet. In the meantime, I couldn’t help but share the creativity I found on the net..you have to check these out. The ones I chose seem simple enough for even this {non-crafty} girl to be able to make.

Oh, Gotta LOVE….

 Watermelon Carvings! What FUN!

Check out this Watermelon Shark…my son eats watermelon like it’s going out of style, and we are a family fascinated by sharks. This is a must at his next birthday party!!! SO cute how they added the gummies!

This Watermelon Tea Pot would be perfect for a Ladies tea party/luncheon!

LOVE this  Watermelon Sail Boat   for a pirate party!

Hostessing a baby shower? This Watermelon Baby Carriage is a must {Thanks to Deb, I had one at my baby shower!}

A Shout OUT to my gluten free friends with this Watermelon Birthday Cake

  4. These are so HAPPY Janelle 🙂

  5. Janelle, thanks for sharing these; I love collecting tea cups and tea pots for my 11 y.o. daughter, so I am loving the tea pot carving; her birthday is in August so I think I could actually do the birthday cake. Could I ask if you or any one reading these posts could suggest what kitchen utensils/tools to use to make some of these designs?

    Love your posts…they are always a delight to see in my inbox. Thank you and God Bless…

  6. This is one of the cutest posts I’ve ever seen! Thank you so much for putting this together! What great ideas! You are so much fun! Blessings, Kelly
