My Favorite Cereal

Here it is! Kashi Golean Crunch!
I find this in the “organic” section of my grocery store. I have been eating this for breakfast for years…in fact, I love it so much that if I do get a craving throughout the day to snack, I eat a handful of this. It has 9 grams of protein, 8 grams of fiber, and 500 mg of Ala Omega-3. What I care about the most? It tastes great and it keeps me full.
Since I am a girl of moderation, I  keep it healthy during the morning and day and sit down to a home cooked meal in the evenings (with no seconds!).
I just finished a bowl of this …… now off to the gym I go!
God Bless you!

I love Kashi GoLean Crunch. I mix 1/2 cup of it with 3/4 cup of nonfat yogurt. It's my favorite post-workout breakfast.

Will have to give this a try. I want to do the same thing….watch during the day breakfast and lunch and eat a nice meal with my family. Thanks for this—I was trying to find a healthy quick filling breakfast 🙂

  3. How often do you go to the gym? I am trying to be fit for 2011 and just doing video workouts. I'm not sure if it will be effective on me.

Hi Jacki! I typically go to the gym 3-5 days a week. I mix cardio with weight training…I think that most programs work if you stick to them..I am sure that at-home training would work for you!!! With my personality, I know that I have to "go" somewhere…I was new to this area 7 years ago so, the YMCA was my saving grace…I was very intimidated to join at first, but I met so many friends, and as my children have gotten older they have been able to participate in many activities.Being a stay at home mom was hard at first because I was always used to being active and around people, so joining the gym helped me quite a bit. We even go up there on Friday nights to have pizza and swim or play basketball. However, any activity that you can see yourself sticking with is what you should do! I have a friend who LOVES the new Wii work outs! I am not a fitness guru but am an advocate for sure…I have a friend who will be launching something online soon and I will share with you her information shortly..she is the expert on this topic!!!!!

MMMMmmmm….that sounds good. I have been looking for a cereal {grown up} to eat. I will have to try this. Because girl, I get me some cravings and they are sweet. I'm a chocoholic, I'm in recovery right now and it's only been 1 hour{LOL}. seriously though, that is my struggle. So anything right now will help with the sweet cravings.
