Feasting in Fellowship Fridays
Food is a extraordinary blessing… it involves every one of our senses. The smell, the sight, the texture, and yes–the sound of food is incredible! The cracking of a nut shell, soup boiling on the stove, ground beef frying in a pan, a small hand fishing in a bowl of chips… all bring their unique sound to the symphony of life.
Every bite, every sound, and every smell is a wonderful gift from our Lord, however, like all blessings if we misuse it, it can be destructive. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 25:16 that if we eat too much of a good thing we’ll get sick. So true in every area of our life, teaching us that moderation is key.

I need this book!! Thanks girl!
I've recently been diagnosed with some very serious food-related allergy and health issues. Food and cooking have always been my gift to my family, friends and church. Now I have to readjust my entire approach so that I can live, yet I still want to serve others delicious food. I could really use some encouragement to eat as a temple and to be example to others. Winning this book would be a huge blessing!
I've been eyeing this book! I'm very eager to read it…
Keep all the yummy recipes coming…we are loving them here in NC 🙂

I think this sounds like a wonderful book! You may not want to enter me in the giveaway because I live in England though and if my name came up the postage costs would be prohibitive 🙂 I'm so glad you have brought it to my attention though and I look forward to reading it soon! I'm coming to the US in a couple weeks and I plan to pick up a copy!!

Janelle,
I have a black bean soup recipe that I love to make. It is thinner than yours, but still thick enough to enjoy. I like the consistency of yours for mixing w/rice so I am going to try making yours too. There is nothing wrong w/having several black bean recipes especially since I love black beans.
I'd love to win! I would love to read Candace's book!
