  1. Thanks for featuring my Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge. Your truffles look so good, I never realized they could be so easy. I will have to try them some time. Thanks for hosting!

  2. Really love those truffles! The featured recipes all look wonderful too. This week I’m sharing an old family recipe for Christmas squares. Thank you for hosting!

  3. The chocolate peanut butter fudge was my favorite from last week, too. I’m adding your elegant truffles to my baking list for next week; can’t wait to try one! Thanks for hosting!

  4. Janelle,
I have enjoyed every recipe that I’ve tried of yours and the truffles look wonderful also. I am coming over from Women Living Well and read the post there. I want to make a correction on the name of the fabric that you used for decorating the beautiful boxes. You used tulle, a type of netting, esp used for weddings. Toile is a French word that describes an old style of fabric that looks like a picture painted on cavas. Go to Wikipedia for a picture of toile fabric. Again thank you for the wonderful recipes! I do need to make the truffles!
    In Christ,
    Ruth

  5. Help… I am trying to eat gluten free, I am chronically ill and it is helping me to feel better! (I do not have the sensitivity, but I do feel so much better without gluten) I am having my husband’s grown children in for Christmas – I saw your wonderful recipes for Christmas but you don’t get to eat any of the goodies… what do you do? I want to be sure that nothing tastes gluten-free… dessert and bread are my main concerns, thank you so very much!

    • Hi Wendy! I completely understand my dear…I have a ton of recipes to post for naturally gluten free/dairy/egg free foods that I need to post. But for me-I do not like the desserts I have tried. I enjoy smoothies, fruit salad (with a dollup of coconut whipped topping), peanut butter cookies, fruit slushies, and rice crispie treats made food allergy friendly. I have been tending to sway towards naturally alllergy free rather than using special ingredients because I just can’t accept the taste! I love mexican, asian, and Indian meals, salads, fruits, and soups galore. It hasn’t bothered me as much as I thought it would. But, I know sometimes there is that “one” thing that makes me wish I didn’t have these allergies, but I feel so much better eating this way. I will continue to throw in allergy free recipes and need to go through my files because I know I have more that I haven’t posted. I just wish I had the time (the cliche saying of us mamas, hu!?) Praying for you and holding your hand through this process!
