  1. We do chocolate dipped strawberries every.single.year for Valentines Day but I’ve never tried adding vegetable oil – interesting! Thanks for sharing Nelle!

And your Fluffy Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe are in my oven as I type 🙂 Mmmmmmm…so thankful for you!
    Love ya,

I have also used 1-2 T of Crisco for every cup of chocolate chips, that way when you put it in the fridge it has a harder shell. I have never tried using vegetable oil, I will try that this year!
    Thanks for the tip!!!

  3. Charlotte Moore says:

    YUM!!!! Love chocolate dipped strawberries.

  4. Yummy!!

SO glad your post just arrived in my in-box because you’ve been on my mind, Janelle. A young friend just gave birth this morning (yay!!). And I know she will be in need of meals (as well as support). And I know I would love to provide some. But I know I’m putting too much thought into it and it will cause me to over-think and not do anything. But I also know that you will know what to do! Thoughts? Thanks!

    • That is so wonderful Kendra!!!! Keep it simple, Girlie! Don’t over think it. Make something easy like Crescent chicken! That’s always a favorite!

  5. One of my favorites! Yum! And that oil is the key to smooth chocolate. Thanks for posting. I know what I’ll do for Valentines dessert for my family. 🙂

  6. How long will these last in the fridge if I make ahead of time?
