I wish I could explain why I love pulled pork so much. It’s not the most “girlie” dish on the menu, but it sure is one of the most delicious. Adding that this recipe is made in the crockpot, pushes over the edge to my personal award of “the best ever”.
Delicious and “comfy” …gotta love it.
You can serve this alone with sides of your choice {such as corn on the cobb, coleslaw, andcheesy potatoes}. Or, you can make it into a sandwich with fixins!

Thanks for this recipe Janelle! Once you list Sweet Baby Ray’s as an ingredient, it’s impossible to go wrong. I’m thinking this, baked homemade fries (drizzle with olive oil, season with garlic powder, oregano and a pinch of salt, bake at 475 for about 20-25 min.), salad, and sweet peach tea… can’t wait to try!
Hello! I love your blog! Does your recipe call for a whole garlic or garlic powder? Also, if you don’t have a crockpot could you make in a Dutch oven?? What temp would I cook in the oven? Thank you!
Thank you <3 Garlic powder, yes you sure can....I would cook it on a low setting (300)
Awesome Recipe can’t wait to try it!
Enjoy!
I have made this pulled pork twice. (both times with guests over). I make my own barbeque sauce, so it’s a bit different than yours, but everyone who has had it has commented that it is THE BEST pulled pork they’ve ever had!! So, the name of your recipe is certainly true! Thanks for the recipe! It’s certainly on our favorite list for meal planning now!
Wohoo! Thanks Colleen!
