Homemade Whipped Cream

There is nothing better than homemade whipped cream…especially for the holidays. It takes very little time and effort, but makes a big difference in taste and texture. Don’t believe me how easy it is? Here we go…

This is in the same aisle as your coffee cream

Pour in large bowl

Start beating with a mixer (high speed!)

Add 1/4 cup of sugar  and 1 tsp of vanilla for each pint you use.

Beautiful- the perfect texture!

Who wouldn’t want homemade whipped cream on pumpkin pie? It’s the best!

Homemade Whipped Cream

Ingredients
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. Pour whipping cream in a large bowl and beat well.
  2. Add sugar and vanilla.
  3. Beat until desired consistency.

  1. This is so right! The difference is really big. And if you always have some cream in your fridge, you can use this for cooking, too (making soups or sauces just that extra bit more tasty).

  3. So I made this and it was super yummy BUT I didn’t know you could overwhip it…. so mine was not pretty or the right consistency. Now I know to stop mixing when peaks form.

  4. I love homemade whipped cream! Puts the store bought stuff to shame!

    We like to add a little cocoa powder to ours and serve with strawberries! YUM!
